Will Pulsford CEO  
Prior to joining RISC, Will’s international career in the upstream oil and gas business has included experience with Shell, Woodside and Chevron. After working on a number of oil and gas projects for Shell in the Netherlands as a process and project engineer, he was seconded into Woodside, initially evaluating development options for Browse Basin LNG and LNG import terminal projects before evaluating development of Bass Strait gas reserves. In early 2002 Will joined the Chevron-operated Gorgon LNG project, responsible for early LNG plant concept selection before coordinating opportunity decision analysis and commercial alignment in the development team. Through this career he has developed process design, concept evaluation, economic and commercial skills.
 
John Boardman Strategy
John has 40 years of international experience in the upstream oil and gas business, spent with several major companies in Europe, Middle East, Africa and SE Asia. He has a rare ability to combine strong analytical thinking with systemic and intuitive insight. This ability enables him to see business decisions from a holistic perspective, to quickly identify the principal value drivers and issues and analytically critique solutions. He has a justified reputation for boundless energy, high motivation, professional integrity and enduring professional and personal relationships. Tim Blackford UK GM  

Tim has over 33 years of upstream oil and gas experience in the commercial, gas marketing and sales, strategy and planning, A&D and general management areas.

Tim has worked in a diverse range of countries including the UK, Holland, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Morocco and Indonesia. He is well versed in petroleum economics and evaluation and is familiar with a wide variety of contract regimes

     
Geoff Salter Reservoir Engineering
Thirty years of global upstream experience in technical and management positions with major operators and consulting firms.  Excellent technical skills, a strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams combined with a thorough knowledge of the upstream business have led to a track record of delivering realistic assessments and added value. Geoff has extensive experience of mergers and acquisitions, independent expert roles, independent reserves/valuation reporting, development planning, and decision analysis in the Asia-Pacific region, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
   
Russell Williams Economics and Commercial

More than 30 years of experience in the hydrocarbon industry mainly in commercial functions with major Australian operators, Woodside and Esso.

Russell has wide experience of joint venture agreements, gas contracting strategies and market analyses as well as excellent financial analytical skills. This commercial expertise is supplemented by early operational roles.

   
Geoff Barker Unconventional Gas
Thirty years of global experience in the upstream hydrocarbon industry. Extensive expertise in the areas of asset valuation, business strategies, evaluation of conventional and non-conventional petroleum (coal seam gas and tight gas), due diligence assessment for M&A and project finance requirements and reserves assessment/certification. Past Chairman of the SPE WA Section, past member of the SPE International’s Oil and Gas Reserves Committee 2007-2009, current member of the SPE International’s Management and Information Awards Committee.
   
Peter Stephenson Reservoir Engineering

Reservoir Engineer with 25 years of experience in the upstream hydrocarbon industry with BP, Shell and RISC. Extensive experience with mature and greenfield oil, gas, gas-condensate and CSG developments in the North Sea, Africa, Middle East and Australasia.

Peter specialises in reservoir evaluation, field development planning, integrated project reviews and multidisciplinary team coordination and leadership.

   
Simon Whitaker Facilities and Development Planning

Over 25 years of experience in the petroleum industry in UK, Egypt, South East Asia and Australia.  Simon has a background in petroleum engineering including reservoir & production engineering, well evaluation and varied operational experience.

Subsequent career development has involved an MBA, asset management, field development planning and implementation and commercial roles.

   
Stephen Newman Principal Adviser (Geoscientist)  

Steve has over 25 years of experience in the international oil and gas industry, predominately as an exploration and development geoscientist with BP and Woodside.   

Steve also has significant commercial and business experience through a four year assignment to the Shell Global Strategy and Portfolio Team and as the Gas Supply Coordinator for the Woodside led, NWS Joint Venture. Prior to joining RISC, he was the Asia Pacific Subsurface Manager for Baker RDS, a global subsurface consultancy.

   
Martin Wilkes LNG Developments
Martin has over 20 years experience in the international oil and gas industry with both large and small companies encompassing upstream, LNG and Gas Technology developments. His experience encompasses a wide range of roles including business leadership and planning, corporate governance, project development and management, technical training, commercial and contractual agreements, intellectual property management and environmental impact assessment. A creative thinker with strong analytical, influencing and communication skills Martin’s main strengths include his ability to distil complex inputs and situations into simple ideas and plans.
